>This option allows you access to all the metadata that isn't IPTC, EXIF or a keyword, for example the rating of the Version, whether it is the Pick of it's Stack (only the main Pick is read, not Album Picks), whether the Master is online/offline/managed/referenced etc.

As well as all the usual options from Aperture such as ratings, version names and custom tags, there are several options here which can't easily be searched for within Aperture, such as:

  • Master File Path - useful for picking out all images on a particular volume
  • Current Pixel Width & Current Pixel Width - this is the current size after cropping and rotation adjustments.
  • Preview Exists - this allows you to split out actions depending on whether the Version has a Preview, for instance exporting the Preview if it is available (very fast), otherwise exporting a Version using an export preset (potentially much slower)
  • Capture Year YY - 08 rather 2008, for ease of use this has been added to the EXIF menu next to Capture Year YYYY.
  • Capture Minute of Hour and Capture Second of Minute are also available in the EXIF menu, allowing you do set up almost any timestamp format for Version names.
