Finding dupes after tagging

After using Aperture Assistant to tag your duplicates, you need to search for all Versions with an empty 'ApAssist Duplicate' tag.

Exporting Metadata

You can export any metadata from Aperture, simply place '{Tab}' or a comma between each value to produce a tab- or comma-delimited file, choosing between one text file per Version or one for each output folder that is created.

An example of making export sub-folders based on image metadata. In this workflow you will end up with the following sub-folders, depending on there being images with all the different rating:

Rating - 0
Rating - 1
Rating - 2
Rating - 3
etc.

With the exported files automatically being exported into the appropriate folder.

Version Naming Example 1

This is an example of a Version naming convention that isn't possible using Aperture's naming presets. It's limited to 30 characters, meaning that you can then add a two-figure counter on the end and still have a 32-character file name on export.
