Hi Ian,
I am running:
Mac OS X v 10.5.4
2.6Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Aperture 2.1
Aperture Assistant 1.0.61
When I run aperture assistant's "Other Tasks" : Find Duplicate Master : Test Run
It runs very well and the text window displays with a link to all files with the duplicates.
However,
When I run aperture assistant's "Other Tasks" : Find Duplicate Master : Run
It takes it longer and appears to run normally. Even displays: "Retreiving Version Names and setting duplicate tags" and this takes a while. But, none of the files listed during the early test run are tagged.
What am i missing or performing wrong ?
Tom
Hi Tom,
The easiest way to see if anything has been tagged is to go into the Library-level search HUD, add an 'Other Metadata' search via the cogwheel, and see if 'ApAssist Duplicate' turns up in the drop-down menu.
Unfortunately, in a reshuffle of the site, the screengrab for this step got lost, so I've put a new one up:

Please let me know if you are still having problems,
Ian
