hello guys out there!
i need to be rescued!
i have this test version and i am quiet happy with it (pano2movie 2.1 b66), but i don't know how to export a movie. it does something, there is a "generator" window and apparently somewhere invisible a "framestomovie" as well. i tried it a couple of times and gave it plenty of time over night, but nothing happens.
where is the problem?
cheers,
aladin,
from oxford, uk
Hello Aladin,
You should be seeing a progress bar showing how far the export has got.
Could you give me a bit more info?
Operating system (Windows XP service pack 2, Windows Vista, OS X 10.5.4 etc.)
Version of QuickTime installed.
The exact settings in the preferences window and the export palette.
Ian
P.S. The easiest way to send me the settings would be to take a screengrab and email it to support add in an at pano2movie and in a dotcom
Panoramic photography + software development = lack of sleep.
Hey Ian,
Thank you very much for your respond! Really, I deeply appreciate there is someone as I am beginning to doubt myself...
The operating system is: Mac Os X 10.4.11 (Intel)
Quicktime version is: 7.5
I tried out different preferences like HD dimensions and 60 frames per sec, png (to test the highest quality possible), and after seeing problems with that, a very low try with 320 x 240, 15fps, and jpg.
It is very interesting to know, that there supposed to be a progress bar, as I never saw any when I tried it.
I apologise for not sending you a screengrap but I don't know your email address (or was I just too stupid to understand it..?).
The thing is, that I really need to know, if this program works in order to think about buying one of these very very expensive 360°lenses. You don't have any experiences with them, do you?
However, step by step. Let's solve this problem first.
I hug you for helping me!
Kind regards,
Aladin, from the isle
Oops!
Ian, I just had a little research and I didn't only find out, that you are from the UK too, but also that you literally are THE expert in panorama photography. So please excuse my not knowing! I just watched the 90 min video of your talk which was very helpful and detailed. Thank you for that as well.
However, I still don't understand how to export movies from the pano2movie.
Cheers,
Aladin
Pretty much. ;-)
I'll email you so you have my address...
Ian
